Doc Genie is a SaaS (Software as a Service) which lets Kindle Scribe users, integrate with Google Drive, One Drive and Dropbox. We built Doc Genie to the clients spec and is currently enjoying tremendous growth within this niche sector.

What did we do

Our client approached us directly after a referral from a previous client with an idea, they knew what they wanted to do but didn't quite know how to get there.

This is quite common with start-ups, they know exactly what they want to happen but aren't quite sure on the technical aspects, this is where we come in, and as part of our free consultation, provided a range of options available to help get the system working.

A big part of what they wanted revolved around inbound email parsing, this means that when an email is sent to them, the system can read that email, verify its what is expected and extract specific information, in this case it's an amazon link.

Could not be happier with the level of service & support I received from Web Wizards, they knew exactly how to help me, offered some amazing ideas which we put in the SaaS and advised me on what to do next to get the word out.

As this project was very unique, we couldn't use an existing platform such as WordPress so we created a fully bespoke solution which exceed their expectations, with a fully responsive (mobile friendly) portal, everything in this platform is designed from the ground up to be safe, secure and fast.

As part of this project, we also implemented a custom email solution so every user gets a unique email address they can send files to, Stripe payments so they can upgrade from a free account to a pro account, integrated with Google Drive, One Drive and Dropbox using Oauth connections and created an admin backend so the client can view key information when needed.

We had also taken care of hosting, provided a dedicated server running Linux which lets them have the capacity to grow in the future. This platform is also tested quarterly with a dedicated penetration test and annually via a third party vendor for the CASA Tier 2 certification.
